Terms & Conditions
Draft · last updated June 2026
By using Text to Chip you agree to these terms. Text to Chip is an early product and is offered as-is.
1. The service
Text to Chip is a browser IDE that turns plain language into BASIC and runs it in an in-browser simulator and on supported boards.
2. As is, no warranty
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. It is in active development and may change or be unavailable.
3. AI-generated code
The assistant can be wrong. Always read the generated BASIC before running it on real hardware. You are responsible for what you run on your devices.
4. Your hardware and safety
You are responsible for your hardware, wiring and safety. We are not liable for damage to boards, components or anything connected to them.
5. Acceptable use
Don't abuse the service or the AI backend (e.g. automated flooding) and don't use it for unlawful purposes.
6. Intellectual property
Open core: the on-device runtime is intended to become open source; the IDE, compiler and AI backend stay proprietary. The programs you write are yours.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for use of the service is excluded or limited.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law.
